Superior clarity flat radiation shielding lead glass. Sizes up to 48 inches x 96 inches and thickness of 8mm(5/16 inches), 11mm(7/16 inches) and 14mm(9/16 inches). For use in Medical, Industrial, Scientific, and Nuclear applications.

• 1.1 ACCEPTABLE MANUFACTURERS
  • Lead Glass shall be manufactured by, and all accessories and parts supplied by RX SERVICES.
• 1.2 SUBMITTALS
  • In accordance with conditions of the contract and Division I, submit six (6) copies of shop drawings for each type of Lead Glass.
• 1.3 DESIGN
  • Shielding properties and size of Lead Glass are to be determined by the Customer.
• 1.4 PRODUCT HANDLING
  • Units are shipped on crated. Use a pallet jack to move the crate. If the material is handled by fork lift, particular care is needed to prevent chipping or scratching. Unpack the material carefully. Remove the crate lid and one side. The contents can then be lifted out easily. Always lift lead glass, never slide it.
• 1.5 WARRANTY
  • The glass is warrantied for the life of original installation (interior use only).

    • 36 inches x 36 inches 48 inches 60 inches 72 inches 84 inches 96 inches
    • 48 inches x 24 inches 36 inches 48 inches 60 inches 72 inches 84 inches 96 inches
    • Glass above 14mm is available upon request. 11mm & 14mm thickness requires a 14-week lead-time.
    • Opening size is 1/4 inches greater than glass size. Minimum cut width from glass size is 1 inches.
